Naylor exited Thursday's game against the White Sox due to shoulder soreness, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Naylor grimaced during a swing in the third inning and departed shortly thereafter. The initial diagnosis doesn't sound particularly ominous and Naylor was labeled day-to-day, though he could undergo imaging with more details to follow.

Naylor was removed from Thursday's game against the White Sox with an apparent injury, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Naylor didn't seem very comfortable at the plate during either of his at-bats Thursday, and he was taken out of the game after grounding out to end the third inning. The Mariners haven't yet said what is bothering the 28-year-old first baseman, but more details will presumably come after he's evaluated by the training staff.

Naylor went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run and two stolen bases in an 8-6 win against the White Sox on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Naylor set the tone for a big offensive performance by Seattle with a 450-foot, two-run wallop to right field in the first inning. His other hit was a seventh-inning single that he followed with swipes of both second and third base. Naylor's final stat line was nearly a mirror image of what he posted the previous day in the series opener, when he also went 2-for-3 with a two-run blast and two thefts. His work on the basepaths has been especially impressive of late; over his past 11 contests, Naylor has gone 10-for-10 in stolen-base attempts. He's already more than doubled his previous career-high mark with 21 steals on the campaign.

Naylor went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk, two stolen bases and three total runs scored in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Naylor continues to be efficient on the basepaths -- he's up to eight steals in 11 games with the Mariners. His homer Tuesday was his second in that span, and he's now 10-for-41 (.244) with his new team. Overall, the first baseman is at a .287/.355/.444 slash line, 13 homers, 19 steals, 63 RBI and 56 runs scored through 104 contests between Seattle and Arizona. He's typically displayed good contact skills, so he should hit more consistently as he continues to settle in.

Naylor went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional run scored and a stolen base in a 3-1 victory versus the Athletics on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Naylor got the scoring started in the contest, belting a 405-foot solo blast in the second inning. The long ball was his first since making his Mariners debut July 27 as well as his first overall since July 7 (a span of 15 games). Naylor also continued to run wild Monday -- he swiped his fourth bag in his past three contests and has already blown past his previous career-high mark with 15 thefts on 17 attempts this season.

Naylor went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Naylor has literally hit the ground running to begin his time with the Mariners, swiping three bags over his first three games since he was traded from the Diamondbacks. He has gone 3-for-11 with a walk and four strikeouts in those contests. Overall, the first baseman is at a .292/.359/.442 slash line with 14 steals, 11 home runs, 59 RBI, 50 runs scored, 19 doubles and one triple through 96 games. He has quickly settled into an everyday role, as expected, with his new team.

Naylor went 1-for-3 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Naylor extended his hitting streak to six games, and he also stole his career-high 12th stolen base. The first baseman's fantasy value may end up taking a dip as he transitions from hitter-friendly Chase Field to pitcher-friendly T-Mobile Park for home contests -- he posted an .855 OPS through 49 games at home for Arizona in 2025 -- but Naylor should see plenty of RBI chances in the heart of Seattle's order. Since the start of June, he's batting .277 with four home runs, five doubles, 22 RBI and three steals over 137 at-bats.

Naylor is starting at first base and batting out of the cleanup spot against the Angels on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Naylor will make his Mariners debut one day after being traded by the Diamondbacks. The 28-year-old slugger, who has an .807 OPS with 11 steals, 11 home runs and 59 RBI this across 392 plate appearances this season, is expected to take over as the everyday starter at first base.

The Diamondbacks traded Naylor to the Mariners on Thursday in exchange for Brandyn Garcia and Ashton Izzi, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Diamondbacks are expected to unload a number of assets before the trade deadline, and they'll officially kick things off by sending Naylor up to Seattle. Eugenio Suarez has been the primary target for many teams looking to add a bat for a postseason run, but Naylor has fared well in his own right, slashing .292/.360/.447 with 11 homers, 59 RBI, 49 runs scored and 11 stolen bases over 93 games in Arizona. Now with the Mariners, the 28-year-old slugger will presumably start every day at first base, taking playing time away from Luke Raley and Donovan Solano.

Naylor is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game versus San Diego.
EDGE Analysis
Naylor will take a seat in the dugout Wednesday after going 1-for-5 with a two-run home run between the first two games of the series. Tristin English will take over at first base and bat seventh for Arizona.
