Harrison tied his career high with four hits Friday, going 4-for-6 with a double against the Phillies. The Pirates had kept Harrison out of the starting lineup twice in their last six games, so he was fresh for Friday's tilt -- good thing as the game went 13 innings and was delayed by rain. He's hitting .271 with a .706 OPS in 218 at-bats, but since May 12 is batting .361/.397/.500 in 116 plate appearances.

Harrison is not in the lineup against the Brewers on Wednesday, Bill Brink of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports. Harrison will get the day off as Jung Ho Kang takes over at third base against Brewers starter Kyle Lohse. Kang will bat fifth in the order.

Harrison reached base four times Sunday, going 3-for-4 with a double and a walk against the Braves. Since May 12 Harrison is hitting .372/.412/.532 in 102 plate appearances. Unlike last season, he has to stay hot or risk riding the bench with Jung-Ho Kang in the mix. Harrison has one hit and three strikeouts in six career at-bats versus Monday starter Jimmy Nelson.

Harrison is back in the lineup Saturday against Atlanta. Harrison got the night off Friday, but came in to pinch hit against the Braves. He'll take over at third base for Jung Ho Kang on Saturday and face Julio Teheran.

Harrison doubled off the third baseman's glove in a pinch-hitting role Friday. He went on to play second base in the ninth inning of Pittsburgh's 10-8 win. Harrison has five or more appearances at second base, third base and in the outfield. He's slashing .260/.298/.393 with four homers, 18 RBI and four stolen bases after a terrible start.

Harrison is out of the lineup Friday. This is just a standard day off for Harrison, as the Pirates continue to work at getting everyone semi-regular at-bats. Jung-Ho Kang will get the start at third base Friday with Jordy Mercer starting at shortstop.

Harrison went 0-for-5 Wednesday, giving him two hits in his last 17 at-bats. Harrison recently missed a start with a sore shoulder. On Wednesday, the third baseman appeared to struggle a bit while throwing across the diamond. He's already committed eight errors in 40 starts at third after making three miscues in 55 third-base starts in 2014. It appears he's capable of playing through his injury, but he's less than 100 percent healthy.

Harrison is not in Friday's lineup against the Padres. Harrison appears to be getting a regular day off Friday. Jung Ho Kang will move over from shortstop to start at third base in his place, while Jordy Mercer will enter the lineup at shortstop.

Harrison went 1-for-3 with two walks, his third stolen base and an RBI against the Padres on Thursday. He's raised his batting average from .173 to a season-high .261 with 27 hits in 63 at-bats since May 12 -- when Pittsburgh began moved him defensively between the infield and outfield again. Harrison has seven doubles, two dingers and all three of his stolen bases during his 15-game hot streak.

Harrison extended his hitting streak to 10 games on Saturday, going 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored, two RBI and his second steal of the season. He's on an absolute tear right now, with six multi-hit performances in his last eight games and a .488 (21-for-43) batting average over the course of the streak. After producing very little over the first six weeks of the season, Harrison seems determined to make up for lost time.
