Harrison is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins due to a sore left shoulder, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Harrison hurt his shoulder when he dove at a ball Saturday. He'll be available off the bench if needed for the series finale, which suggests the shoulder issue is merely a day-to-day concern. The newly recalled Ronny Rodriguez will step in for Harrison at the keystone.

Harrison went 2-for-5 with a double and a run scored in Tuesday's 8-2 loss to the Indians.
EDGE Analysis
Harrison is batting just .150 this season, but perhaps his first multi-hit performance in a Detroit uniform will get him going. The 31-year-old posted his worst batting average and on-base percentage since 2013 last season, and he was certainly hoping for a better start to the 2019 campaign after a promising spring training in which he posted a 1.055 OPS across 41 at-bats.

Harrison reached base three times, scored three runs and recorded two stolen bases in a 5-4 victory against the Royals on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
The 31-year-old is still only hitting .148, but it was nice to see him very active out of the leadoff spot. Harrison posted his first runs and stole his first base in a Tigers uniform Thursday. Harrison has tended not to play very well in April throughout his career, so owners shouldn't be too concerned about the slow start. He is a career .256 hitter in April, but that career batting average rises to .305 in May.

Harrison went 0-for-4 in Monday's loss to the Yankees and is now just 1-for-15 to begin the season.
EDGE Analysis
Harrison's hot bat in spring training has not carried over to the regular season, as he and the rest of Detroit's hitters have gotten off to cold starts. The Tigers have scored just seven total runs through five games, and while Harrison figures to stick as the primary leadoff hitter despite his slow start, the overall anemic state of the offense could limit his run scoring potential.

Harrison is not in the lineup Sunday against Toronto, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Harrison started each of the Tigers' first three games, going 1-for-11 at the plate. Niko Goodrum starts at second base Sunday.

Harrison went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI in Wednesday's Grapefruit League game against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Harrison has been having a nice spring, as he now has a 1.067 OPS through 31 at-bats, though this was his first home run in Grapefruit League action. The 31-year-old hit just eight long balls last season after collecting a career-best 16 in 2017, so power isn't a huge part of his game. However, it looks like Harrison could provide some decent value as Detroit's primary leadoff hitter this season.

Harrison went 1-for-2 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's Grapefruit League game against the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Facing his former team, Harrison kept his hot spring rolling, as he's now slashing .391/.517/.478 through 23 Grapefruit League at-bats. It looks like the 31-year-old will serve as Detroit's regular leadoff hitter this season, and he could be a decent source of runs as a result.

Harrison went 2-for-3 with a run scored in Monday's Grapefruit League game against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Harrison is slashing .500/.636/.625 this spring, albeit in a small sample size of just eight at-bats. The strong start is encouraging nonetheless, and the 31-year-old is expected to get plenty of playing time as Detroit's everyday second baseman, making a bounceback season a possibility after a disappointing 2018 campaign.

Harrison will start at second base and bat leadoff in Wednesday's Grapefruit League game against the Yankees, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
After he signed with the Tigers just a week ago, Harrison was given some time to get acclimated with his new organization before getting the green light to make his spring debut. Detroit could experiment with Harrison at multiple lineup positions during Grapefruit League play, but his insertion atop the order in his first game suggests he may be viewed as the early favorite for that spot. A permanent leadoff assignment would aid Harrison's chances of re-emerging as a double-digit stolen-base threat after he went just 3-for-3 on his attempts in 97 games with the Pirates in 2018.

Harrison might make his team debut Wednesday against the Yankees, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Harrison came to terms on a one-year deal with the Tigers on Wednesday, and he's closing in on his first spring training action. Manager Ron Gardenhire stated that Harrison won't travel with the team this week in an effort to get him ready. Expect an update on Harrison's availability as Wednesday approaches.
