Hader had to deal with the speedy Chandler Simpson on base after he reached via catcher's interference to start the frame. After allowing a one-out double to Tyler Stephenson, Hader retired Rece Hinds and Santiago Espinal on strikes to pick up his first save since late April. With a 1.59 ERA and 25:4 K:BB through 17 innings, the 31-year-old southpaw is still clearly one of the most dominant relievers in the game.

Hader put himself in a bit of hot water when he gave up a walk and a double, but he bounced back to fan Alejandro Kirk before getting Myles Straw to fly out to center field to close out Wednesday's contest.
