Hey, is there a way we can have the beginning of Queen's "Another One Bites the Dust" play when people open this article? No? Okay, never mind.Another one bit the dust this week, with the Angels taking Cody Allen out of his ninth-inning role. Other closers are struggling, but Allen is the one who lost his job first. More on the Angels bullpen below. In more exciting news, Trevor Rosenthal lowered his ERA to 36.00 this week and is striking out a batter per inning. The Mariners bullpen continued t[...]

Milwaukee Brewers reliever Josh Hader came in to a tied game in the 9th inning and gave up the game winning home run to Cody Bellinger in Sunday's loss to the Dodgers. Hader hasn't had a save since April 7th and has given up at least one run in three straight appearances. [...]
Josh Hader Gives Up Three Runs Friday rotoballer.com Sat 4/20/19 2:14 AM
Milwaukee Brewers reliever Josh Hader gave up three runs on two walks and a hit on Friday and took the loss against the Dodgers. After being untouchable for the first few weeks of the season, Hader has now given up at least a run in his last two outings. The more concerning part of this outing was that Hader, who had been the Brewers closer while Jeremy Jeffress was out, came in to pitch in the 7th inning on Friday. Now that Jeffress is back, there is a possibility that Hader will no longer be[...]

Only Week 3 and we're already looking at a pretty wild season, bullpen-wise at least. We have our first "out for the season" injury for a team's closer, and we have a legitimate top closer back on the mound after coming off the injured list. And also: Craig Kimbrel.[...]

Closers and Saves Report - Week 2 Waiver Wire rotoballer.com Fri 4/12/19 7:45 AM
If the first two weeks are any indication, this should be a good baseball season. There are fans of some teams that may dispute that claim, and as a Marlins fan myself...well, bullpens have been crazy haven't they?Smart baseball minds have been saying for years that a team's best relief pitcher shouldn't be pigeonholed into the ninth inning, and it looks like teams are finally starting to listen. Guys like Josh Hader and Andrew Miller kind of started the trend, but Raisel Iglesias on the Reds an[...]
Finding the Next Josh Hader - Undervalued Relievers with Legit Upside rotoballer.com Fri 4/12/19 1:30 AM
As the reliever game in the Majors has changed over the past few years, so must the fantasy community. With the growth of players like Josh Hader, Andrew Miller, and Ryan Pressly, the number of fastball-slider relievers, who can pitch multiple-innings, offer new chances to rack up Ks and holds. While not off to a great year, Seth Lugo offers another good comparison. [...]

Milwaukee Brewers reliever Josh Hader pitched 2 2/3 perfect innings to secure his fifth save of the season in Sunday's win against the Cubs. Hader has still yet to give up a run this season and looks like he is running away with the closing role. We will know more once Jeremy Jeffress returns, but for now, Hader might just be the number one closer in fantasy.
