Bell went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's 10-1 loss to the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Bell prevented the Nationals from getting shut out with his fourth-inning homer. He snapped an 0-for-11 skid at the plate with his two-hit effort Thursday. The 29-year-old has maintained a steady .294/.370/.447 slash line with eight homers, 39 RBI, 33 runs scored and 10 doubles across 65 contests while routinely hitting in the middle of the order.

Bell went 2-for-5 with a home run, a triple, three RBI, two runs and a strikeout in Friday's 11-5 win over Milwaukee.
EDGE Analysis
Bell had a third consecutive multi-hit performance Friday, but his performance against the Brewers marked the first time that he had produced any runs during that time. The 29-year-old has recorded multiple hits in six of the last 11 matchups, and he hit .378 with two homers, a triple, two doubles, nine RBI and four runs across that span.

Bell went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's loss to the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
His seventh-inning shot off Graham Ashcraft ended a brutal scoreless streak of 27.1 innings for the Nationals' offense, but it was the only run the team scrounged up in an 8-1 loss. Bell also snapped a personal 23-game homer drought, a stretch during which he slashed a feeble .253/.302/.276 with only eight RBI. On the season, the first baseman is batting .309 with five home runs and 29 RBI in 52 contests.

Bell went 3-for-4 with three RBI in Monday's 13-5 loss to the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
He once again didn't have an extra-base hit, but Bell still found a way to be productive in the rout. He's gone 21 games without a homer, slashing a weak .237/.284/.250 during his power drought with only one double and eight RBI.

Bell will start at first base and bat fifth Sunday against the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
He'll look to get back on track in the series finale in Milwaukee after going 0-for-14 with a walk and an RBI in the Nationals' last four games. Due to the ongoing slump, Bell's season-long batting average has dropped from .333 to .301.

Bell went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and two additional runs during Saturday's 7-3 victory against the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Bell opened the scoring with a solo shot in the first inning, walked and scored in the fourth and singled and scored in the fifth. This is Bell's third instance reaching base three times in six games this month and he's still slashing a robust .351/.452/.546, all of which rank top 12 in MLB.

Bell went 3-for-5 with a three-run home run and two additional runs scored in Tuesday's 10-2 win over the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
The first baseman hadn't homered in 17 games prior to crushing a German Marquez fastball the other way in the third inning Tuesday, but Bell has been extremely productive despite the lack of over-the-fence power. He's reeled off three multi-hit performances over the last four games, and in 24 contests on the season he's slashing .366/.464/.549 with three homers, 16 runs and 18 RBI.

Bell went 4-for-6 with a double, two runs and an RBI in a 14-4 win against the Giants on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Bell and the rest of the Nationals teed off on the Giants as he got on in the third, sixth, eighth and ninth innings and was responsible for four of 22 hits. The impressive outing raised the 29-year-old's line to .357/.458/.514. Bell is top 10 in both average and OBP, though that has come at the cost of power, as his ISO of .157 is well below a career mark of .205.

Bell (hamstring) will start at first base and bat cleanup in Tuesday's game against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Bell was held out of Sunday's 12-3 loss to the Giants after tweaking his right hamstring in Saturday's game, but the day out of the lineup plus Monday's off day evidently provided enough time for him to heal up from the injury. The Nationals could look to use Bell as a designated hitter at some point the next few days to get him off his feet, but he otherwise looks like he'll be in store for a full slate of at-bats during the Nationals' six-game week.

Manager Dave Martinez said the MRI on Bell's right hamstring came back "pretty clean," but the first baseman won't be in the lineup Sunday against the Giants, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports. He could be available off the bench as a pinch hitter.
EDGE Analysis
The 29-year-old was removed from Saturday's contest with tightness in his right hamstring, but he appears to have avoided a serious injury. Bell also exited a contest earlier this week with a knee issue but didn't end up missing any time for that injury. He'll have Monday's scheduled off day to aid in his recovery before potentially sitting out additional games. Maikel Franco will shift to first base in his place while Lucius Fox fills in at the hot corner.
