San Diego Padres first baseman Josh Bell is back in the lineup Friday as the team's designated hitter against Davis Martin and the Chicago White Sox. Bell sat the Padres previous two games, and he has now sat four of the team's last seven games, as he appears to be in a platoon role with the Friars. After a torrid first half, Bell has been a complete dud to close out the season. His September slash line of .186/.278/.243 is the stuff of nightmares for fantasy owners who were counting on him as...
Josh Bell Not In Padres Lineup Friday rotoballer.com Fri 9/23/22 6:19 PM
San Diego Padres first baseman Josh Bell is out of the lineup Friday against the Colorado Rockies. It's a tough break for fantasy managers, who were likely hoping Bell would break out of his current slump with a series at Coors Field. Bell has now sat out three of the team's last seven games, as the Padres don't have the time to sit around and let the 30-year-old figure it out. He has an abysmal .196/.309/.288 slash line with the Padres and has only three homers, 23 runs and 11 RBI in 179 plate ...

Washington Nationals first baseman Josh Bell went deep Thursday, bringing his season home run total to 13. He was 2-for-5 at the plate in a 5-4 loss to the Atlanta Braves. Bell should remain locked into starting lineups going forward.
