Pittsburgh Pirates first baseman Josh Bell went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 8-7 extra-inning loss to the Braves. Bell's home run in the top of the ninth gave the Pirates the lead, but reliever Kyle Crick blew the save, leading to the eventual loss. After just 66 games played, Bell is only seven home runs behind his career high of 26. Barring injury, Bell should finish the season with career highs in almost all offensive categories.
