Pittsburgh Pirates first baseman Josh Bell went 2-for-4 with a walk, a home run, and three RBI in Friday's tough 7-6 loss to the Brewers. Bell's three-run homer in the bottom of the ninth brought the Pirates to within one run, a deficit they would eventually erase. Bell has now set a new career high with his 27th home run in just 86 games.

Pittsburgh Pirates first baseman Josh Bell went 2-for-5 with a double and two runs scored in Sunday's 11-10 victory over the Padres. Bell's single in the 11th inning started a rally for the Pirates, and the league leader in doubles eventually scored the tying run before the Pirates walked it off. Bell is now hitting .315 with a ridiculous 1.026 OPS. Bell's run production has slowed since his scorching May, but he is still one of the most valuable first basemen in fantasy.
