Osuna will make a rare start in left field and bat fifth against Cleveland on Thursday.

The 28-year-old played left field twice in 95 appearances in 2019. He went 1-for-3 on Wednesday in his first start since Aug. 3. Surprisingly, the right-handed hitter did better against righties (.849 OPS) than lefties (.612 OPS) last season.

There's little question that 2020 represents a huge opportunity for Osuna. He's the team's best defender at first base and should see more action with the addition of the designated hitter.
