Schoop went 2-for-4 with a home run, a walk, two runs and three RBI in Sunday's 10-6 win over the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Schoop launched a two-run homer in the fifth inning, then gave his team a 10-2 lead with an RBI single in the sixth. Few would have picked the 25-year-old second baseman to finish as the home run leader for a Baltimore lineup that contains the likes of Manny Machado and Chris Davis, but he's starting to run away from the competition in that department. Schoop's already just one shy of last season's career high with 24 home runs in 60 fewer games, while none of his teammates have hit more than 18.

Schoop went 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBI in Friday's 8-7 loss against Houston.
EDGE Analysis
His 20th homer of the year, a three-run blast in the ninth, brought the O's within a run after entering the final frame down 8-2. Schoop now has two blasts, 13 RBI and five runs over his last four games.

Schoop went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and three RBI during Thursday's win over the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
After a career-best first half, Schoop is 11-for-29 out of the All-Star break with nine RBI and six runs through seven games. He's emerged as a high-end fantasy asset and sports an impressive .302/.350/.540 slash line for the campaign.

Schoop went 3-for-4 with a double, three RBI and a run against the Rangers on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The big day brought his average up to an even .300 thanks to a hot stretch that's now a month-plus in length. Over his last 28 games, Schoop has hit seven homers and driven in 24 runs to go with a .339 batting average. That's got to be frustrating for fantasy owners who cut ties with the 25-year-old second baseman in late May, when he was scuffling along quietly with six homers and a .270 average through his first 45 games.

Schoop will start at shortstop and bat third Sunday against the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Schoop is making his second start at shortstop of the season, but since he's graded out as a below-average defender at the keystone throughout his career, it's unlikely that he'll permanently move up on the positional spectrum. With limited infield depth on hand, however, Schoop could still pick up a few more starts at shortstop when regular option Ruben Tejada rests, so it's not out of the question that he'll end up gaining eligibility at the position in some leagues before the season ends.

Manager Buck Showalter said he wants to keep Schoop hitting third in the batting order moving forward, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Definitively the O's best offensive player this season, Schoop has hit from seven different spots in the order thus far. He was most productive hitting fifth and sixth in the lineup, but the second baseman is still adjusting to his new spot. Schoop should enjoy more at-bats, RBI and run-scoring opportunities hitting from third than he would down the card.

Schoop went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer Saturday against the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Schoop blasted his 18th homer of the year in the fourth inning to give the Orioles a lead they'd never relinquish. The shortstop has provided amazing value for fantasy owners, as he's having a massive year, as evidenced by his .296/.349/.541 slash line.

Schoop is starting at shortstop and batting third Saturday against the Twins, his first big-league start at the position, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
With J.J. Hardy (ribs) in the midst of a long stay on the DL and few options in the middle infield, manager Buck Showalter will move his All-Star second baseman to the other side of the bag. Schoop saw a few innings of action at shortstop during Thursday's game and the Orioles appear committed to shuffling the lineup in hopes of better production at the plate, as the move allows Johnny Giavotella to start at the keystone Saturday. Baltimore has lost seven of their last eight contests and rank 23rd in runs scored this season with 4.37 per game.
