CBS Sports reports that the Rangers are interested in Jonathan Broxton. Texas backed off big-name starters due to sky-high price tags. Luckily, Broxton will come cheaper. If moved to Texas, Broxton would set up Joe Nathan, which would kill his fantasy value and greatly enhance his successor's as KC's closer, expected to be Greg Holland. Broxton has 23 saves and a 2.27 ERA with the Royals this year.

After saying Thursday that there was a 60 percent chance Broxton would be dealt, Crasnick has now upped the odds to 60-70 percent. Broxton has had a nice year but has struggled of late, giving up runs in three of his last six appearances.

Broxton only signed a one-year contract and will hit the free agent market after this season, so the Royals may as well get some young talent out of him if they can.
