Wendle is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Pirates, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wendle will get a breather after he picked up starts out of the middle infield in each of the past four contests while going 3-for-13 with an RBI. Miguel Rojas will be back in the lineup after a one-game rest to start at shortstop Thursday, while Jon Berti occupies the keystone.

Wendle went 1-for-4 with an RBI, a stolen base and a walk in Sunday's 7-4 win over the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Wendle recorded hits in both of his games after being activated from the 10-day injured list Friday, and he tallied his fifth stolen base of the season during Sunday's matchup. Over his last two games, the 32-year-old has gone 3-for-8 with two RBI, a run, a stolen base and two walks.

Wendle (hamstring) was activated from the 10-day injured list and will start at second base and bat second Friday versus the Nationals, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wendle will return to the lineup Friday after missing the entire month of June. His return comes at a good time considering Jorge Soler (back) was placed on the 10-day IL earlier in the day. Wendle has produced a .284 average with two homers, 11 RBI, 12 runs and four stolen bases over 88 at-bats in 29 games this season.

Wendle (hamstring) will serve as the designated hitter during a rehab game at Triple-A Jacksonville on Saturday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wendle has been sidelined since the beginning of June due to his hamstring injury, but he'll be able to return to game action with the minor-league club this weekend. It's possible that the 32-year-old will require multiple rehab games, but it seems likely that he'll rejoin the Marlins sometime next week. Brian Anderson (back) is also in Jacksonville on a rehab assignment, and it's not yet clear how the playing time will be dished out once Anderson, Wendle and Jon Berti are all at full health.

Wendle (hamstring) is on track to begin a minor-league rehab assignment later this weekend, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
In addition to Wendle, Brian Anderson (back) is also likely to begin playing in rehab games in the days to come, but neither player should be expected to be activated from the 10-day injured list for the Marlins' weekend series with the Mets. When both have been healthy this season, Wendle and Anderson have formed a platoon at third base, but it's unclear if manager Don Mattingly will stick with that arrangement once the two players are activated. Jon Berti has been a revelation as the Marlins' everyday third baseman thus far in June and has been a godsend for fantasy managers by hitting .300 while going 14-for-14 on stolen-base attempts through 18 games this month.

Wendle (hamstring) will hit live batting practice Saturday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
He started a running program earlier this week so it seems like Wendle could be nearing a rehab assignment. Once healthy, it will be interesting to see how the Marlins make room for Wendle, given that Jon Berti has fared well as his replacement.

Marlins manager Don Mattingly revealed Monday that Wendle (hamstring) has resumed baseball activities and has started a running progression, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wendle's ability to resume on-field work suggests that the platelet-rich plasma injection he received for his strained right hamstring earlier this season has yielded the desired effect. Since Wendle is now in the midst of his second stint on the I0-day injured list this season due to a right hamstring injury, the Marlins will likely proceed cautiously with him before activating him. He doesn't look like a good bet to be activated this week.

Wendle (hamstring) isn't feeling sore Tuesday after receiving a PRP injection four days prior, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wendle has missed just shy of a week with a right hamstring strain, but he appears to be trending in the right direction. Whether or not he'll be ready to return when first eligible is not yet clear, however.

Wendle (hamstring) received a PRP injection Thursday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wendle landed on the injured list with a right hamstring strain Wednesday, but the team is hopeful that his injection will aid in his recovery process. A timetable for his return hasn't yet been revealed, but Jon Berti and Willians Astudillo should see additional playing time while Wendle and Brian Anderson (back) are sidelined.
