Panik has gone 5-for-11 with a home run early in spring training.
EDGE Analysis
Panik's 2018 campaign turned out to be a disappointment after a promising start (four homers through his first 10 games). Two stints on the injured list may have played a role, as he began to look more like himself down the stretch. When healthy, the 27-year-old has shown an ability to hit for average with light pop. Panik is slated to begin the year as the club's primary second baseman.

Panik went 1-for-3 with three RBI in Saturday's loss to the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Panik was a surprising source of RBI on Saturday, setting a season-high in the category one day before the end of the regular season. It was a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing campaign for the 27-year-old, who slashed a meager .254/.307/.333 over 101 games. Despite his offensive struggles, Panik is still the leading candidate to man the keystone next year with little competition at the position.

Panik is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Padres, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Panik will head to the bench with a left-hander in Robbie Erlin toeing the rubber for the Padres. Abiatal Avelino will start at the keystone and hit eighth in his stead.

Panik is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Padres, Kerry Crowley of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Panik is hitting .474/.524/.474 with a pair of stolen bases over his past five starts, but he'll hit the bench with a lefty in Joey Lucchesi starting for the opposition. In his place, Chase d'Arnaud is starting at the keystone and hitting second.

Panik went 2-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and a pair of runs scored in Sunday's loss to Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
It has been a season to forget for Panik, but he has quietly produced three multi-hit efforts with two steals while starting four consecutive contests. All seven of the 27-year-old's hits over that span have been singles. Despite the lack of power, Panik can provide help in the runs category so long as he continues to get on base and bat second for the Giants.

Panik led off and went 3-for-5 with a run scored in Wednesday's 2-1 loss to the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Panik returned to the lineup after being situated on the bench for three of the Giants' last four contests. The 27-year-old no longer starts against southpaws, and he will occasionally sit against righties to get Alen Hanson's bat in the lineup. Panik is slashing just .248/.302/.340 with little to show in terms of counting stats, so the lack of consistent playing time limits his fantasy value.

Panik is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Braves, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Panik is hitting just .200/.231/.240 across eight games this month, so he'll stick on the bench for a second straight game despite a right-hander in Mike Foltynewicz starting for the Braves. In his place, Alen Hanson will pick up a start at the keystone and hit second.

EDGE Analysis
As per usual, Panik will head to the bench with the opposition deploying a lefty starter in Sean Newcomb. Kelby Tomlinson will start at second base and hit seventh in his stead.

Panik went 2-for-5 with a double and a run scored in Wednesday's 5-3 loss to Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
Panik provided two hits for the second consecutive contest, this time doing it from the leadoff spot. Manager Bruce Bochy has used a different batter atop the order over the past three games, so Wednesday's leadoff appearance may not stick. Even if Panik were to hit in the upper-third of the lineup, the Giants' lack of offensive firepower wouldn't do much to improve his underwhelming fantasy value (.247/.304/.344 with just four homers over 81 games).
