Winker went 0-for-3 with a walk, a run scored, two RBI and a stolen base in Monday's win over the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
The 30-year-old had a busy day despite his lack of success with the bat, drawing a bases-loaded walk in the fifth inning, then reaching base on a fielder's choice and stealing a bag in the seventh. Winker's reached base safely in 17 of the last 19 games, slashing .278/.369/.472 over that stretch with all three of his homers and all three of his stolen bases on the season along with 13 runs and 13 RBI. With Lane Thomas (knee) and Joey Gallo (shoulder) sidelined, Winker's become the everyday starter in left field, while Eddie Rosario and Alex Call platoon in right.

Winker went 2-for-5 with a grand slam in Saturday's 11-4 victory over the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
After walking CJ Abrams to load the bases in the top of the fifth inning, Edward Cabrera hung a curveball to Winker, who deposited it over the right-field wall to break the game open. Winker also had a single, giving him his first multi-hit game since April 16. He's now slashing .291/.404/.465 on the season for the Nationals.

Winker went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer and a double in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Winker was the only one in the Nationals' lineup with multiple hits, as he accounted for six total bases while the rest of his teammates combined for four. He doubled his first time up and then took Ryan Yarbrough deep to right in the third for his second long ball of the year. Winker struggled with his bat over the last two seasons in Seattle and Milwaukee, but he is off to a blistering start this year, hitting .373/.500/.608 with five RBI, 11 runs and a 9:10 BB:K in 64 plate appearances.

Winker went 4-for-4 with a double and a solo home run in Friday's extra-inning loss to the A's.
EDGE Analysis
The 30-year-old outfielder did everything he could to get the Nationals into the win column in a 2-1 loss, but the rest of the team only managed four hits combined. Winker is off to a blistering start to 2024, batting .361 (13-for-36) through 12 games with three doubles, a homer, a steal, three RBI and seven runs, but the lackluster lineup around him has limited his fantasy production.

Winker went 0-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Wednesday's 7-1 loss to the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
The 30-year-old outfielder has never stolen more than one base in a season, with his last pilfer coming July 1, 2021. Winker's had a solid start to the campaign and, most importantly, has looked healthy, batting .281 (9-for-32) through 11 games with two RBI, six runs and an 8:7 BB:K, although his only two extra-base hits have been doubles.

Winker (illness) will start in left field and bat sixth in Thursday's game versus the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Winker has dealt with an illness this week but is feeling well enough to play Thursday. It's a bit of a surprise he's in the lineup at all since the Pirates are starting lefty Martin Perez, and the left-handed hitting Winker has a career .657 OPS versus southpaws.

Winker (illness) is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Pirates, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Winker had to be removed from Monday's 8-4 loss to Pittsburgh due to an illness. Even after Tuesday's off day, Winker won't rejoin the lineup, though it's unclear whether he's still not feeling well or if he's just getting an extra day to rest up. Eddie Rosario will play left field and Victor Robles will be in center while Winker is on the bench.

Winker was removed from Monday's game against the Pirates due to illness, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is good news for the Nationals, as it likely means Winker will return within a day or two. The team should know more about Winker's availability for Wednesday after re-evaluating him Tuesday.

Winker was removed from Monday's game against the Pirates with an apparent injury, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Winker didn't suffer an obvious injury but was replaced in left field by Eddie Rosario to begin the top of the second inning. He didn't take an at-bat or have a ball hit to him before being lifted. The Nationals should provide more clarity on Winker's situation soon.

Winker went 2-for-3 with a walk and a double in Sunday's loss to the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Facing the club he made his big-league debut with in 2017, Winker continues his hot start to the season but wasn't able to generate any production outside of his OBP. The 30-year-old has started all three games in left field for the Nationals so far while Eddie Rosario gets a look in center field, and Winker's 5-for-11 showing with a 2:3 BB:K should keep him in the lineup, even if he has only one run and one RBI to show for it so far.
