Cincinnati Reds outfielder Jesse Winker is not in the starting lineup on Friday against Dodgers left-handed starting pitcher Rich Hill. Jose Peraza is starting in left field and is hitting eighth, while Kyle Farmer is at the keystone and batting sixth. Neither Peraza nor Farmer have done much of anything at the plate this year and are both very poor DFS picks on Friday night. Peraza is slashing just .208/.261/.312 with three home runs, nine RBI and four stolen bases in 125 at-bats.

Cincinnati Reds right fielder Jesse Winker is in the lineup Thursday against left-handed Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Jose Quintana. Winker has sat against lefties more often than not so far this season, but gets the nod this time. Although this matchup should be avoided in DFS, the more often Winker gets into the lineup against left-handed pitchers, the more value he will have in standard leagues. As it is, he remains worth rostering in most leagues for his power and patience upside.

However, it sounds like Winker is ready to go after missing one game. He'll bat cleanup and play left field versus righty Dereck Rodriguez. Winker doesn't hit for much average, but his nine home runs make him an interesting option for DFS contests against Rodriguez on Friday.
