Hahn is not with the Royals for personal reasons, Lynn Worthy of The Kansas City Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hahn is away from the team tending to a personal matter, which explains why he was scratched from his scheduled start in Wednesday's exhibition against the Cardinals. It's unclear when the right-hander will rejoin the team.

Hahn may have been on the outside looking in on a spot on the Royals' 26-man roster when camp was suspended, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Flanagan suggests that Hahn was competing with nine other pitchers for the ninth and final spot in the Opening Day bullpen. While Hahn is out of minor-league options, so is Randy Rosario, and Rosario was the better pitcher this spring. Hahn gave up seven earned runs with three walks and three strikeouts in five innings.

Hahn signed a one-year major-league contract with the Royals on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The Royals non-tendered Hahn at the start of the month but will wind up bringing him back on a big-league deal. He'll make $600,000 this season, with the possibility to earn a further $200,000 in incentives, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports. Elbow issues have limited him to just 4.2 innings at the major-league level over the last two seasons. He owns a 5.89 ERA since the start of the 2016 campaign.

Hahn was non-tendered by the Royals on Monday, Lynn Worthy of The Kansas City Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hahn will head to free agency after failing to come to terms on a new deal. He pitched in just four games for the Royals during the 2019 season, allowing seven runs while striking out seven over 4.2 innings.

Hahn (0-1) was charged with the loss against the A's on Wednesday, surrendering one run on one hit and two walks with a pair of strikeouts while recording just two outs.
EDGE Analysis
Hahn came into a scoreless game in the 11th inning and allowed a leadoff walk to Jurickson Profar. After back-to-back strikeouts of Marcus and Semien and Matt Chapman (with a stolen base by Profar wedged between), Hahn intentionally walked Matt Olson. Matt Canha then smacked a walkoff double, scoring Profar and leaving Hahn with his first loss of the year. The 30-year-old came off the injured list on Sep. 3 after undergoing UCL surgery last August. He now owns an 8.10 ERA and 2.40 WHIP over four appearances this season.

Hahn (elbow) was reinstated from the 60-day injured list Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Hahn has finally worked his way back from last August's UCL repair surgery. He hasn't pitched in the big leagues since 2017, but he's ready to go after allowing one run in 3.2 rehab innings.

Hahn (elbow) has been throwing live batting practice in Arizona, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hahn is still on the mend from surgery on his right UCL, but he's closing in on a rehab assignment. He remains without a timetable for a return, though he'll likely need a lengthy rehab assignment.

Hahn (elbow) was placed on the 60-day injured list Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
This is simply procedural, as Hahn is already expected to remain sidelined until June while recovering from surgery he underwent in August to repair the UCL in his right elbow. The right-hander will likely remain at the Royals' spring training facility after camp concludes to continue his rehab.

Hahn (elbow) will likely remain at Royals' spring training facility after camp concludes and could be on the injured list until June, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The delayed start to Hahn's season doesn't come as a major surprise after he required surgery in August to repair the UCL in his right elbow. While his procedure wasn't quite on the same level of a Tommy John surgery, it nonetheless requires a rehab period of several months and will put him well behind his fellow pitchers this spring. Hahn should still be able to begin some sort of throwing schedule during camp and could be ready to head out on a minor-league rehab assignment in May.

Hahn (elbow) inked a one-year contract with Kansas City on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
The deal is reportedly worth $800,000 and Hahn will avoid arbitration. It's unclear whether Hahn will be ready for spring training following surgery to repair his UCL near the end of August, but he didn't pitch in the major leagues last year. He made 14 appearances (13 starts) for the Royals in 2017, accruing a 5.30 ERA and 1.51 WHIP with 55 punchouts over 69.2 frames.
