Jeff Locke held the Mariners to two runs and four hits in seven innings in a win Tuesday. Locke did give up his first homer since May 14 when Kyle Seager connected for a solo shot. The game was already over at that point, though. Locke is 7-1 with a 2.06 ERA for the season. One has to imagine that modest 67/41 K/BB ratio in 96 1/3 innings will catch up to him some as time goes on, but up to this point, he's only gotten better as the year has gone on.

Jeff Locke threw seven scoreless innings but was denied a win against the Reds on Wednesday. Just when it seems Locke couldn't possibly be pitching better, he does. The southpaw kept the Reds off balance all night, giving up just four hits and three walks while striking out three. The only thing keeping him from being 7-1 was Jason Grilli's first blown save of the year. Locke will toe the rubber again on Tuesday against the Mariners in Seattle.

Jeff Locke twirled a gem in Friday's victory over the Dodgers, allowing just two hits and a walk over seven scoreless innings. Locke racked up five strikeouts in the impressive outing and needed just 75 pitches to cruise through seven innings. He's been nothing short of tremendous this season, posting a 6-1 record, 2.19 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 60/36 K/BB ratio in 82 1/3 innings. While he's unlikely to maintain this pace, he needs to be owned and active in all formats until he shows signs of cooling down. He'll take on the Reds in Cincinnati on Wednesday.

Jeff Locke carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning on Sunday but was left with a no-decision. Pittsburgh's bullpen coughed up three runs after Locke exited and the Pirates ended up taking a tough loss. Locke was excellent yet again, issuing a career-high seven walks but yielding only one hit and one earned run while striking out six. He has an outstanding 5-1 record, 2.39 ERA and 1.21 WHIP in 75 1/3 innings this season and will remain a decent fantasy streaming option until the shine ultimately wears off. His poor command makes his current set of stats unsustainable.

Jeff Locke allowed three runs over 5 2/3 innings in taking a no-decision against the Braves on Tuesday. After three consecutive starts where he held the opponent scoreless, Locke was mortal on Tuesday, giving up six hits and two walks in allowing three runs. He did still strike out seven on the night, though. The southpaw still hasn't taken a loss since his first start on April 7. His next is scheduled for Tuesday against the Giants.

Despite allowing seven hits, Jeff Locke blanked the Tigers for 5 1/3 innings on Thursday. Locke has pitched 18 1/3 scoreless innings in his last three starts, and he's now had five starts this season in which he hasn't allowed a run. No other pitcher in baseball can say that. Six pitchers have had four such outings: Jorge De La Rosa, Clayton Kershaw, Hiroki Kuroda, Paul Maholm, Justin Masterson and Shelby Miller. Locke can't keep up this pace for much longer, but he's a big reason the Pirates have been baseball's most pleasant surprise so far this season.

Jeff Locke threw six scoreless innings to pick up his fifth win of the season Saturday as the Pirates beat the Brewers. It was Locke's second-consecutive scoreless start, and his season ERA is now down to 2.45 through 10 starts. The left-hander yielded just three hits and three walks while striking out seven in the outing. He hasn't taken a loss since his first start of the season on April 7. He'll take the mound again Thursday against the Tigers.

Jeff Locke fired seven scoreless innings Sunday in the Pirates' victory over the Astros. Locke looked excellent against the hapless Houston offense, yielding only three hits and two walks. He's now 4-1 with a cool 2.73 ERA and 1.14 WHIP in 52 2/3 innings this season, but some regression should be expected. Locke will face off against the Brewers next.

Jeff Locke allowed three runs in six innings but took a no-decision against the Brewers on Tuesday. Locke's outing qualified him for a quality start, the fourth such result in his last five starts. The southpaw struck out six batters, tying a season high, while walking just one, tying a season low. It's hard to see how the Pirates remove him from the rotation when James McDonald returns. Assuming he gets another turn, Locke will next face the Astros on Sunday.

Jeff Locke pitched six innings of one-run ball Thursday in a no-decision against the Mets. Locke allowed three hits, walked three and struck out three. It's the fourth time in seven starts that he's allowed one or no runs. One could say he's a Locke to keep his rotation spot following Francisco Liriano's return.
