The White Sox reassigned Elmore to minor-league camp Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Elmore signed a minor-league contract with an invite to spring training in February and saw only nine official at-bats. The 30-year-old seems likely to start the season with Triple-A Charlotte as infield depth, assuming he remains with the White Sox.

Elmore agreed to a minor-league deal with the White Sox which includes an invitation to spring training, MLB.com's Scott Merkin reports.
EDGE Analysis
Elmore spent the entire 2017 campaign at the Triple-A level, compiling a .236 batting average with one home run, 41 RBI and 12 stolen bases in 110 games split between New Orleans and Buffalo. The 30-year-old most recently played in the big leagues with Milwaukee in 2016, earning 78 at-bats but slashed just .218/.371/.244 during 59 contest. He will add some extra organizational depth to the White Sox's infield moving forward.

Elmore, who came over to Toronto in the offseason, is finally beginning to find a groove at Triple-A Buffalo, Matt Schneidman of The Buffalo News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Elmore, who's played in 197 MLB games, has spent the large majority of his 10-plus professional seasons in the minors. An infielder drafted by Arizona in 2008, the 30-year-old has had success at the lower levels, but Elmore's game never translated to the big leagues. He entered spring training as a legitimate contender for an Opening Day utility gig, but at this point, Elmore stands little chance of donning a Jays uniform this season.

Elmore, a non-roster invitee, is a legitimate contender for an Opening Day roster spot, Corey Long of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Elmore's ability to play several different positions has been attractive to the Blue Jays coaching staff this spring. Manager John Gibbons said there's a lot of value in players like Elmore, who can sit for periods at a time and be ready to fill holes in the lineup on short notice. Over his five MLB season, Elmore has played all nine defensive positions and logged at-bats from every spots in the order. The versatile 29-year-old has tallied 257 plate appearances over his last two campaigns with Tampa and Milwaukee, but his offensive numbers are brutal. If added to the 25-man roster, Elmore will be a defensive choice, therefore lacking fantasy value regardless of format.

Elmore signed a minor league contract with the Blue Jays that includes an invite to spring training, Toronto radio play-by-play broadaster Mike Wilner reports.
EDGE Analysis
Elmore hit .218 in 78 big-league at-bats last year and has bounced between Triple-A and the majors over the last four seasons. If he sticks with the Jays, he'll likely take on a similar role as organizational depth around the infield and outfield.

Elmore was outrighted to Triple-A Colorado Springs on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The Brewers' 40-man roster now stands at 37 after several players were bumped Friday, including Elmore. He got on base at a strong .371 clip in 59 games with Milwaukee in 2016 and is a versatile defender, but Elmore turns 30 next year and seems destined to play out his career as organizational depth.

Elmore is hitting just .178 on the year with three RBI over 60 plate appearances.
EDGE Analysis
The fourth-year player has been unable to have consistent success as he only has one hit in his last 15 at-bats. He'll continue to find limited playing time as he serves as a backup to Ryan Braun.

Elmore's contract was selected from Triple-A Colorado Springs on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Elmore will make his fifth trip back to the majors now -- each with a different team -- as Alex Presley gets designated for assignment. The 29-year-old has been an on-base machine this season with Milwaukee's Triple-A affiliate, posting a .320 BA and .428 OBP through 57 games. His production in the minors has yet to translate against better competition, however, as he sports a career .215 average in the majors. The first basemen now has another opportunity to prove that his minor league stats are no fluke.

Elmore pinch hit in Tuesday's game and ultimately went 0-for-1 against Cincinnati.
EDGE Analysis
The 28-year-old second baseman has struggled throughout most of this year's spring training and is batting just .240 in his 30 plate appearances. Elmore is unlikely to see much time at the big-league level this coming season as he's currently behind Scooter Gennett, Colin Walsh, Aaron Hill, and Yadiel Rivera on the depth chart.

Elmore agreed to a minor league contract with the Brewers on Monday that included an invite to spring training.
EDGE Analysis
Elmore has bounced around the league, playing with five different organizations since 2012. His most recent stop was with Tampa Bay, where he played 51 games in the majors but only mustered a .206/.263/.284 slash line. Elmore can play all around the infield and even played some outfield last season, which could help him garner some value in a rebuilding Brewers organization.
