Nottingham has gone 11-for-21 (.524 average) with two home runs, three doubles and a triple in his five games since returning to Triple-A Colorado Springs after a stint with the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
With Manny Pina having since been activated from the 10-day disabled list and Stephen Vogt (shoulder) likely to return to the big club in the next week or two, Nottingham's recent surge with the Triple-A club isn't expected to result in a promotion to Milwaukee. Even so, it's at least encouraging to see the 23-year-old mash upon heading back to the Pacific Coast League after struggling mightily at Double-A Biloxi in 2017. Nottingham has recorded at least one extra-base hit in each of those five contests to boost his season line with Colorado Springs to .396/.431/.750 (199 wRC+).

Nottingham was optioned to Triple-A Colorado Springs on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Nottingham will head back to the minors to continue his development following the reinstatement of the Brewers' starting catcher, Manny Pina, from the DL. The 23-year-old didn't collect a hit in seven plate appearances with the big club, though he did draw two walks and score a run. He'll remain an option to return to the majors should the Brewers need additional catching depth moving forward.

Nottingham is starting behind the plate Tuesday against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Nottingham made his major-league debut Monday, collecting two walks and scoring a run off the bench. He'll likely come off the bench more often than not, but he'll give Jett Bandy a breather Tuesday evening.

Nottingham was recalled from Triple-A Colorado Springs on Monday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Brewers are dealing with a slew of injuries, so Nottingham will join the big club for the first time in his career to offer some much needed depth at catcher and first base. The 23-year-old has enjoyed a nice start to the season with Triple-A Colorado Springs, hitting .296/.345/.519 with one homer through eight games. Seeing as he lacks much experience above Double-A, Nottingham will likely head back to the minors once the Brewers get a couple players back.

Nottingham is 7-for-17 (.412) with three doubles, three RBI, and a 2:5 BB:K through five games with Triple-A Colorado Springs.
EDGE Analysis
Nottingham was assigned to the Triple-A level for the first time this year, and the early returns are promising. Despite his lack of experience at the top minor-league level, he was added to the Brewers' 40-man roster over the winter, which could give him the edge of fellow Colorado Springs catcher Christian Bethancourt if the Brewers need to dip into their system for a catcher at any point.

Nottingham was added to the 40-man roster Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Nottinham didn't put on his strongest display at the plate in 2017. The 22-year-old hit just .209/.326/.369 over 101 games at Double-A Biloxi. By joining the 40-man roster, Nottingham is protected from the Rule 5 draft.

Nottingham was named the Brewers' minor league Player of the Month for June after posting a .925 OPS over 18 games with Double-A Biloxi.
EDGE Analysis
Nottingham posted just a .642 OPS last year and owned an even smaller .505 OPS at the end of April, but he has heated up since, hitting .291/.381/.470 with three home runs, 15 doubles, and 22 RBI over his last 41 games. Nottingham has faded some as a prospect, but he is just 22 years old, so he has time to turn things around if he continues showing his improved skills with the bat.

Nottingham (biceps) went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored in a minor-league spring game with Double-A Biloxi on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Nottingham was out nearly three weeks with his biceps injury, but he has recovered from his setback, and appears healthy heading into the regular season. The top catching prospect in the Brewers' system, Nottingham will open the campaign with Biloxi for the second year in a row.

Nottingham (biceps) was reassigned to minor-league camp Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Nottingham's time with the big league club will come to a premature end due to a bout of biceps tendinitis, but he'll look to rebound Saturday when he expects to resume activity. Barring any extraneous circumstances, the catching prospect will likely spend most of the season with Double-A Biloxi.

Nottingham, who has been sidelined by soreness in his right biceps, expects to resume activity Saturday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's unclear when the injury was sustained, but it's unfortunate timing for the catching prospect, as it seems like he won't be able to log any more playing time before being reassigned to minor league camp. The Brewers also seem to be taking things relatively slowly with Nottingham, as manager Craig Counsell even went on the record saying that he won't catch in a game until the soreness has completely subsided, according to Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. The 21-year-old's status moving forward should become clearer once he gets back to doing some workouts.
