Zach Walters broke a 3-3 tie with a pinch-hit solo home run as the Nationals defeated the Marlins on Wednesday. Walters, pinch-hitting in the pitcher's spot, took reliever Mike Dunn out to left field to put the Nationals up 4-3 in the eighth inning. Walters was recently promoted after Ryan Zimmerman suffered a thumb injury, and has homered in each of his last two games.
