Yonder Alonso is expected to land on the 15-day disabled list with a sore right wrist. Alonso has been out since Monday with the wrist soreness and the Padres aren't seeing enough progress. Jake Goebbert will likely be called up in a corresponding move. Alonso, 27, is batting just .210/.250/.341 with five homers and 22 RBI in 69 games this season.
