Yonder Alonso hit a grand slam off Tyler Chatwood to account for all of the Padres' runs on Friday. The homer was Alonso's eighth of the season to go along with his 34 doubles. He's improved enough in the second half of the season that his campaign no longer looks like a disappointment. He has 30 RBI in 55 games since the All-Star break after driving in a total of 23 runs in 83 games during the first half.
