Chicago White Sox third baseman Yoan Moncada is getting the day off on Sunday versus Twins right-hander Kenta Maeda. Danny Mendick will draw the start at the hot corner and bat seventh while Nicky Delmonico will bat out of the two-hole. Moncada tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this month and just needs a maintenance day in the early part of the season. Manager Rick Renteria expects him to play all three games in the club's upcoming series versus the Indians.
