Yankees sent RHP Jim Miller outright to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Miller was designated for assignment Wednesday but has cleared waivers and will remain in the organization. The 30-year-old posted a 2.59 ERA and 44/27 K/BB ratio over 48 2/3 innings this past season for the A's.
