Yankees recalled INF David Adams from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. He'll provide some extra insurance for the infield with Derek Jeter (calf) going on the DL. The 26-year-old is batting .205/.271/.287 in 37 games with the Yankees this season.
