Yankees purchased the contract of INF Jayson Nix from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Nix was removed from the 40-man roster during the offseason, but he has successfully secured a spot on the Opening Day roster. We should see him start at third base against left-handed pitching, including Opening Day against Jon Lester and the Red Sox. However, his fantasy impact will likely be minimal.
