Yankees placed 1B Mark Teixeira on the 15-day DL, retroactive to March 22, with a tendon sheath injury in his right wrist. Teixeira is currently limited to swinging one-handed, but hopes to pick up the pace of his rehab by next week. The Yankees aren't expecting to have him available until late May or early June.
