Yankees manager Joe Girardi said Monday that Brendan Ryan (back) will be activated from the disabled list on Tuesday. Ryan has hit .320/.433/.320 during seven rehab games and is no longer bother by his back injury. With Derek Jeter struggling at the plate and in the field, Ryan should see a decent amount of playing time at shortstop.
