Yankees GM Brian Cashman said Monday that Mark Teixeira is still experiencing pain in his right wrist. Which leaves open the possibility that Teixeira will require season-ending surgery. The first baseman was given a cortisone injection last week when he was placed on the disabled list but it's clearly not going to act as a long-term fix for his wrist discomfort. Teixeira has appeared in only 15 games this season for the Yankees.
