Yankees designated OF Chris Dickerson for assignment. The move clears a spot for the newly-claimed Russ Canzler on the active roster. Dickerson, 30, batted .286 (4-for-14) in 25 games with the Yankees in 2012 and spent the majority of the year at the Triple-A level. He could draw interest on waivers.
