Yankees claimed RHP Dan Otero off waivers from the Giants. Otero posted a 5.84 ERA over 12 appearances with the Giants last season, but he owns a 2.12 ERA over six seasons in the minors. The 28-year-old right-hander will function as bullpen depth in the minors.
