Yankees activated INF Jayson Nix from the 15-day disabled list. Nix was activated prior to Tuesday's game and then went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts against the Dodgers. David Adams was optioned back to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in a corresponding roster move.
