Teixeira fouled a ball off his foot in the fourth inning of Saturday's contest and appeared to be dealing with some pain, but he was able to finish the at bat and stay in for the remainder of the game. Despite the fact that he avoided anything overly serious, it wouldn't be surprising if the first baseman -- who is also planning to play through knee pain for the rest of the season -- gets some rest in the next day or two.
