X-rays on Fowler's right hand came back negative following Saturday's game against the Cubs, Derrick Goold of the St. Loius Post-Dispatch reports.

Fowler was hit by a pitch on his right hand in the ninth inning Saturday, and while he was able to stay in and finish off the game, he was dealing with some swelling afterwards so the Cardinals sent him for some tests. While he appears to have avoided a more serious injury, his status for Sunday's series finale remains up in the air.
