X-rays on Carlos Quentin's left shoulder came back negative. Quentin left Saturday's game against the Rangers in the first inning after injuring his left shoulder making a diving catch on Craig Gentry's blooper. He will be examined further on Sunday. Consider him day-to-day for now. Alex Rios, who replaced him Saturday, would probably start Sunday if Quentin isn't available.
