Wright will start for the Red Sox Sunday against the Mariners, Scott Lauber of the Boston Herald reports. Wright was considered the favorite to take over in the rotation following Justin Masterson's arm injury, and that's now confirmed to be the case. Following four starts with Triple-A Pawtucket, Wright was promoted into a long relief role for the Red Sox, and pitched 10.2 innings in two appearances, allowing five runs on 12 hits and six walks. He won't miss a ton of bats, but has shown the ability to sit batters down the last couple seasons.
