Wright tossed a scoreless inning Friday in his lone appearance during his latest stint with the big club, but with manager Buck Showalter preferring to keep an extra lefty in the bullpen in Donnie Hart, who was recalled in a corresponding move, the right-handed Wright was deemed expendable. It's expected that Wright will rejoin the Orioles when rosters expand Sept. 1 to serve in a long-relief role.
