Wright was informed Saturday that he will not make the Rangers' roster, the Dallas Morning News reports. Wright was informed of the decision earlier in the week, but rather than elect for free agency, he's decided to continue pitching for Texas in spring training in hopes of catching the eye of another team. The 40-year-old was in camp on a minor league deal, and he fell behind a handful of younger pitchers competing for a roster spot. "If they change their minds, I'm still here," said Wright. "But, if not, I'm showcasing for all the other teams." Wright said he hopes to play one more season in the majors.
