Wright signed a minor league contract with the Rangers on Saturday that includes an invite to spring training.The 19-year veteran will return to Texas, where he spent the 2007-2008 seasons, after posting a 4.35 ERA and 1.40 WHIP in 61 appearances with the Dodgers last year. Wright turned in much better numbers while with the Rays in 2013 (3.09 ERA, 1.20 WHIP), but he has just a 1.22 K/BB for his career and will have to beat out fellow non-roster invitees David Martinez, Ross Wolf, Juan Oviedo and Ross Ohlendorf for a bullpen spot in spring training.
