He has been throwing long toss so far since reporting to camp and Monday will mark the first time he throws off a mound. Wright figures to be used out of the rotation at times this season, but the Red Sox's ideal deployment when everyone is healthy will be for the knuckleballer to serve as a swingman/long reliever while Drew Pomeranz and Eduardo Rodriguez occupy the last two spots in the rotation.
