As anticipated, Wright arrived in Fort Myers on Monday to begin intensifying his throwing program. He'll throw off of flat ground Monday for the second straight day, with the expectation that he'll progress to elevated ground Tuesday. The Red Sox have not set a target return date, but the hope is that Wright will be ready to join the rotation as the third starter should Boston make the playoffs.
