Wright (knee) was transferred to the 60-day disabled list Thursday, Evan Drellich of CSN New England reports.

Given that Wright is out for the season, he was an obvious choice to land on the 60-day disabled list to make room for Hector Velazquez on the 40-man roster. The knuckleballer underwent knee surgery on May 8 and will spend the rest of the season rehabbing his injury.
