Wright has been diagnosed with spinal stenosis, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports. The condition was disclosed after Wright's back stiffened up again Saturday, a day after he took batting practice. Wright is taking medication to treat the issue, but will be shut down for at least a week and any sort of timetable will be up in the air until he resumes baseball activities. Even then, any target dates will be very tentative given the recurring nature of the issue.
