Wright (hamstring/back) took batting practice Friday and should start a minor-league rehab stint next week, ESPN New York reports. Wright, out since April 15 with a strained right hamstring, then had lower-back pain when he looked close to returning. He may play in close to a week of games and then rejoin the Mets. That date is still up in the air, as the team could be cautious and wait until June 9 when they return home rather than having him come to the West Coast for games June 1-7.
