Wright allowed two runs on four hits and one walk while striking out two in 6.1 innings to pick up the win Saturday against the Angels. Wright, who gave up both runs and three of his four hits allowed in the first inning, said the adrenaline flowing and couldn't establish a consistent release point early on. But he settled in after that, retiring 18 of the next 19 batters faced. In four starts, Wright's been effective enough to retain a spot in the rotation, but his fate depends on how the team wants to handle the eventual return of Justin Masterson.
