Wright allowed three runs on five hits, walking one and striking out four over 5.2 innings of a 7-4 loss to Texas on Friday night. Wright (2-2, 3.90 ERA) actually pitched pretty well to everyone except the Rangers' newly re-acquired Josh Hamilton who launched two knuckleballs into the seats. With Eduardo Rodriguez having pitched so well in his debut, and Joe Kelly struggling, Wright's claim to a spot in the Boston rotation is up in the air so check his status before his turn comes around again.
