Wright allowed one run on three hits and three walks while striking out seven in seven innings for Triple-A Pawtucket. He's thrown at least six innings and passed the 100-pitch mark in three straight starts. Wright has pitched deep into games, something Boston's starting staff has not been doing on a regular basis. If the Red Sox consider any changes to their staff, Wright might be the first one who gets an opportunity to start in Boston.
