Workman was recalled from Triple-A Pawtucket on Wednesday, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports. Workman struggled with the Red Sox in his time with the team this season, posting a 1-8 record witha 4.93 ERA and 1.34 WHIP. Despite his troubles, he will start for the Red Sox on Thursday as the team starts auditioning players for the 2014 season.
