Workman (elbow) has undergone Tommy John surgery, Peter Abraham of The Boston Globe reports. Dr. James Andrews performed the procedure, and now Workman's owners in keeper leagues have to deal with the fact that he probably won't be back for much of next season, and could miss 2016 entirely if his recovery goes slowly. Workman pitched in 19 games (15 starts) for the Red Sox last season, recording a 5.17 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 70 strikeouts over 87 innings.
